- When will I get my race number and pack? Race numbers and information packs will be sent out approximately 3 weeks before the event.
- Is there anywhere to leave my kit/baggage on the day? There is a kit tent in the start area. If you wish to leave your kit in the kit tent, remember to write your number on the baggage tag which is sent out with your race pack.
- Are there any first aid points on the course? St John Ambulance services are located along the course (at every drinks station) and at the start and finish areas to ensure your safety.
- Are there many toilets? There will be plenty of toilets at the start/finish area and also there are one or two at the drink stations.
- Is there an official race photographer? Yes, photos are taken by Marathon Photos and will be available at: www.marathon-photos.com a few days after the event. You will also be able to download personalised videos of the race.
- How many drink stations are there and is it just water? There are 12 drink stations in total on the marathon course. All drink stations include water, but Lucozade drinks are also available at miles 6 and 9 on the Half Marathon course, and there will be Lucozade & Water at miles 15, 16.3, 18, 19, 19.9, 22.6 and 25.4 for Full Marathon runners.
- When will results be available? Full results will be available online within 24 hours of the finish.
- What are the timings on the day? The Wheelchair race starts at 9:55am, the main race follows at 10:00 (Full and Half Marathon) and the BBC Radio Nottingham Fun Run and Don Scott Mini-marathon both start at 10:20. Prize giving for the Half Marathon will be at approx. 12:15 and 1:30 for the Full Marathon.
- If I double book myself or am unable to take part in the race, can I cancel my entry and get a refund? No, there will be no refunds or deferrals.
- What should I do if I want to run for the official charities? Just tick the ‘request a fundraising pack’ tick box when you enter, or email kathryn.walker@alzheimers.org.uk or call Kathryn on 0115 9343800 if you have already entered and just want to request a fundraising pack.
- Is there a pre-race warm up? There will be a collective warm-up at 9:20am, where you will be led through a series of mobility and stretch exercises.
- Will there be a sweeper bus? The sweeper bus follows at the back of the race. Between miles 1 and 3 it travels at 15 minute miling pace and thereafter at 12 minutes per mile. Anyone overtaken reverts to a pedestrian. We cannot guarantee marshals and road closures to still be in place, so please proceed with caution.
- Is there anywhere available for camping? Unofficially, there is limited camping available. The area is just under the size of a football pitch, so it's first come, first served. There is also Nottingham Holme Pierrepont Camping & Caravan Park (0115 9824721), a large well equipped site a few minutes from the race site.
